Fox River Trail

The Fox River Trail in Waukesha trail head is at the E.B. Shurts Environmental Education Center at 810 W. College Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186 The trail is about 5.5 miles long and features a 2200 ft boardwalk thru a cat tail marsh along the Fox River. The trail ends with a loop in the Fox River Park at the south end of the trail.

The trail largely follows the Fox River from just south of down town to the Fox River Park. Parking is free at the E. B. Shurts Center, but it does cost to park at Fox River Park. Walking and biking are free.

Note that the parking lot at the E. B. Shurts Center is also the eastern trail head of the Glacial Drumlin Trail, which starts about 1/3 mile west of the center.
